Dana Thimons is a librarian on the McGraw Hill Customer Success team. Prior to joining McGraw Hill, Dana has worked as a health sciences librarian in academic and hospital libraries. Dana earned a Master of Science in Library and Information Studies from Florida State University and a Master of Science in Health Law from Nova Southeastern University.
Michael P. Krajewski Jr is an adjunct assistant professor at the University at Buffalo School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences and consultant pharmacist to the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. His research focuses on pharmacy practice and appropriate medication use in the dental setting. When not engaging in academic pursuits, he enjoys coaching youth baseball, reading, and music. He is also the cover model (along with his spouse) for the current issue of UB Libraries Today.
Kalpesh Desai is a pharmacist with the Office of Retrospective Drug Utilization Reviews at the University of Buffalo, School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences where he is also Director of Diversity. Kal also consults at the University at Buffalo, School of Dental Medicine, where he provides drug information to faculty, students, and patients. Teaching students about potential dental concerns to be aware of from medications and supplements and counselling patients on their medications allows for a positive health visit for patients.
Elizabeth Stellrecht is an associate librarian in the University Libraries at the University at Buffalo where she is the Head of Health Sciences Library Services. Liz also serves as the liaison librarian to the School of Dental Medicine and assists faculty, staff, and students with their research needs. Her research explores the ways librarians collaborate with clinicians, faculty, and students in the evidence-based dentistry process. In her free time, Liz can be found doing librarian-like things such as reading, gardening, and hanging out with her cats (and her spouse and toddler, too)
Joseph E. Gambacorta A native of Buffalo, New York Dr. Gambacorta currently serves as the associate dean for academic and faculty affairs and a clinical associate professor at the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. He graduated from the University at Buffalo in 1989 with a degree in biology and earned his dental degree from the UB School of Dental Medicine in 1993. He completed a general practice residency at Buffalo’s Millard Fillmore Gates Circle Hospital in 1994. Currently, he is a candidate for a Masters of Public Health degree with an expected graduation in December of 2022.
