Dr. Cynthia Moreau is currently an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Nova Southeastern University College of Pharmacy (NSU COP) in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Prior to starting her faculty appointment in 2016, Dr. Moreau received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Florida College of Pharmacy in 2014. Following graduation, she completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency with an emphasis in ambulatory care at Florida Hospital Celebration Health and a PGY2 Ambulatory Care Residency with a focus in academia at the University of Florida College of Pharmacy/UF Health Family Medicine. Since joining the faculty at NSU COP, she has worked as part of the College’s ACO Research Network, Services, and Education (ACORN SEED) team, whose mission is to expand clinical pharmacy services within accountable care organizations in the south Florida region. Dr. Moreau is a board-certified ambulatory care pharmacist (BCACP) and currently maintains a clinical practice site in Palm Beach County, providing chronic disease state management under a collaborative practice agreement alongside primary care providers. As full-time faculty at NSU COP, Dr. Moreau is heavily involved with didactic and experiential education of pharmacy trainees, teaching in core pharmacy courses and precepting advanced pharmacy practice experience (APPE) and PGY2 pharmacy residents.
Ashley Sowa is a digital platform trainer on McGraw-Hill's User Services team. She has served as a STEM librarian at a variety of institutions, including at an academic engineering library, a corporate R&D center library, and a public library. Ashley earned her MLIS from University of Pittsburgh and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry.
