Amanda Freeman has taught at Kansas State University since 2006, most frequently Principles classes (both Macro and Micro) and Money and Banking. She specializes in online instruction and course design, as well as development of educational materials, and acts as an advisor to new teaching assistants both online and offline.

I earned my BA in 1991 from the University of Guelph, started work in publishing a few months later – have made it my career ever since. Over 30 years, I have worked in both legal and academic publishing at Butterworths, Lexis/Nexis, and McGraw-Hill Education, in roles ranging from Researcher, Legal Editor, Managing Editor, Content Developer, Acquisitions Editor, to Publisher. I also teach in the Chang School of Business at Ryerson University, helping students understand the value of scholarly and academic publishing.
