Dana earned a Master of Science in Library and Information Studies from Florida State University and a Master of Science in Health Law from Nova Southeastern University.

Wesley Holloway is a Customer Success Librarian at McGraw Hill. He served as a library specialist and health sciences librarian with the University of Tennessee for four years. Wesley earned his MLS from Indiana University and is dedicated to user education.

Ashley S. Weinheimer, MLIS
Customer Success Librarian

Ashley Weinheimer is a Customer Success Librarian at McGraw Hill. She has served as a STEM librarian at a variety of institutions, including at an academic engineering library, a corporate R&D center library, and a public library. Ashley earned her MLIS from University of Pittsburgh and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry.

Steve Thygerson, Ph.D., MSPH, CIH
Professor of Environmental and Occupational Health

Prior to his appointment at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah in 2008, Dr. Thygerson worked for nine years in various occupational and environmental health settings in the public and private sectors.

Dr. Thygerson is a Certified Industrial Hygienist and EMT. He is a past chair of the International Affairs Committee of the American Industrial Hygiene Association. As a member of Workplace Health Without Borders (WHWB), he mentors and consults with other occupational hygienists and provides occupational health training worldwide. Those countries include Nepal, Thailand, Belgium, Brazil, Peru, South Africa, Mozambique, Ethiopia, and Pakistan. For the past 20 years, he has authored first aid, CPR and wellness books including the Wilderness First Aid, Emergency Care in Remote Locations and Wilderness First Aid Field Guide.

While not at work, Thygerson loves to run, mountain bike, backcountry ski, set out on family backpacking trips and is a wanna-be overland expedition enthusiast.
Dr. Susan Dalterio
Professor of Instruction

Susan Dalterio received a B.A. majoring in both Biology and Psychology at Boston University; received a M.A. in Psychology at Assumption University, and a Ph.D in Physiological Psychology from Tufts University. After her post-doctoral experience in the Department of OB-GYN at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center at San Antonio, she joined the faculty in the Pharmacology Department teaching medical, dental nursing, and graduate students, conducting her research, and achieving the rank of Research Associate Professor. Over a 20-year research career, Dalterio has published over 70 papers in prominent scientific journals. For the past 35 years, she has served as Biology faculty at the University of Texas at San Antonio teaching undergraduate and graduate students where she is currently Professor of Instruction in the Department of Integrative Biology.

Dr. Dalterio has been involved in drug abuse education at the National and International Level for over 40 years and has served as a consultant for the US Drug Enforcement Administration providing numerous training workshops for law enforcement, educators and healthcare professionals. Areas of expertise include pharmacology, toxicology, reproductive biology and general biology.
Jennifer Gotcher, M.S.
Assistant Professor, Adjunct

Jennifer Gotcher grew up in the friendly city of Austin, TX and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.S. in Biochemistry. From Texas State University, she received an M.S. in Biochemistry; and from the Aromahead Institute, she became a Certified Aromatherapist.

Gotcher is a Level 2 member of National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy (NAHA). She worked in the biotech industry prior to beginning her current teaching role at Austin Community College. Gotcher loves integrating biology and chemistry with essential oils to facilitate a healthier lifestyle.

Outside of work, Gotcher has many hobbies, including world-traveling, cooking/baking, swimming, Pilates, speaking Spanish, reading, and learning everything she can. She is blessed with a loving husband and four fantastic children, who keep her extremely busy.
